Some days I wish it was socially acceptable

to run into the garden

and scream into the sky.

I wish to tear every shred of weight out of my chest

and I wish to tear my vocal chords into shreds until silence.

Some days I want to howl into the sky for no reason in particular

And those days I almost wish I’ll scream louder then those people building bridges.

I swear I’m not getting murdered.

There’s too much breath in my lungs, that’s all.
